Plan Ahead & Age Well: a 7-part educational series

The Ogunquit Memorial Library presented an educational series on aging with local speakers and resources. The series was made possible by a sponsorship from AARP Maine. The average age of our yearlong residents in Ogunquit is 59.9 years old and we have a large retired population that summers here, most of which are retired or soon to be retired, and many of whom are caring for older relatives. We wanted to create a series on aging gracefully focusing on subjects and issues that this age group will have to consider in the next decade.

The topics covered were:

Estate Planning/Health Care Proxies:

Brin Moore, Esq, Attorney in ME & NH has spent the past decade honing her practice in estate planning and probate in Maine and New Hampshire. Estate planning is personal. What she enjoys most about in her practice is coming alongside clients to understand their goals, and working together to create a well-rounded plan that achieves those goals.

She works with clients to prepare Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, and Advance Directives, as well as Deeds, Prenuptial Agreements, Special Needs Trusts, Real Estate Trusts, and business documents as they relate to her clients’ needs.
